On November 29, 2010, the Statuary Hall of the Egyptian Museum hosted the fourth Festa dello Scarabeo, which was attended by the guest of honor, Madame Guillemette Andreu Lanoë, Conservateur général, Directrice du Département des Antiquités égyptiennes du Musée du Louvre, who illustrated the founding of the collections of the two Museums - in Paris and in Turin - thanks to the contribution of the Piedmontese Bernardino Drovetti, soldier, diplomat, traveler, explorer and collector of antiquities. The profile of this historical personality was traced by the deputy editor of La Stampa, Vittorio Sabadin. Museum Director Eleni Vassilika illustrated the new restorations conducted by the Museum with the support of Gli Scarabei and unveiled a plaque dedicated to the Association, in particular for the restoration of the collection of objects from the Tomb of Kha, which was given a new location in the museum itinerary.
