2014 Christmas Greetings

For our 2014 Christmas greetings, in the company of the exhibit’s curator and artistic director, we were given a closed-door tour of the photographic exhibit "Götterdämmerung - Il Crepuscolo degli Dei", hosted in the noble rooms of the Appartamento Padronale of Palazzo Saluzzo Paesana, organized on the occasion of "Torino Incontra Berlino," a cultural twinning which had just been inaugurated at the Teatro Regio by President Napolitano and which will unite Turin with the capital of reunified Germany throughout 2015.

A walk with the Director

Thanks to the kindness of Dr. Christian Greco, Director of the Egyptian Museum, who reserved an unprecedented, private appointment for us, we were able to discover aspects of the Pharaohs’ civilization and learn more about the treasures safeguarded at the Egyptian Museum of Turin.

A visit to the new Hypogeum room

On Monday, September 9, 2013, Gli Scarabei were given a private and exclusive tour of the new Hypogeum room of the Egyptian Museum, followed by an aperitif organized in collaboration with Christie’s Auction House, which presented an important jewel from the Magnificent Jewels auction in Geneva.

On October 31, 2009, the children and grandchildren of Gli Scarabei were invited to participate in "Halloween at the Egyptian Museum”, an evening tour among the rooms which are visited by strange presences on the scariest night of the year.
